Belly Fat Diets - The Magical Solution?
Have you heard that there are foods and special diets that are specially designed to help you get rid of your belly fat? There is something called the Flat Belly Diet that has been endorsed by the writers at Prevention magazine.
The diet is promoted as a way to take as many inches off of your waistline as you want. There are also a variety of diets making the rounds right now that claim they can get rid of your stomach fat without you having to do a single minute of exercise. Are these diets the real deal? Here is what we have found out about belly fat diets:
The best way to get rid of stomach fat is to eat a healthy diet and maintain a regular exercise routine. You will want to work all of your muscle systems, not just your abdominal region. You know that this is true, but isn't there any truth to the diets that claim to get rid of belly fat?
To understand why these diets aren't what they claim to be, you need to understand how fat works in your body. Fat cells cannot be lost without surgery. Even people who are in model shape have plenty of fat cells in their bodies.
Fat cells are cells that stretch and constrict depending on how much exercise you get and what you eat. The only way to lose a fat cell is to have it surgically removed. What's more, your body stores fat in different ways--focusing on a single area of your body won't get rid of that area's fat It will simply relocate the fat to somewhere else!
Monosaturated fats can be found in, among other things, soybeans, seeds, nuts, olives and dark chocolate. The person who developed the diet claims that monosaturated fat focuses specifically on the fat that is stored in the belly area. The author of the diet encourages exercise, but emphasizes that exercise is not required to make the diet successful.
Recently, MSNBC released an article that promises readers that there are no foods that will actively attack single areas of body fat Belly fat is the same as fat located in other areas of the human body. The article maintains that genetics has more to do with where your body stores fat than anything you could eat.
Here is the simple truth: if you cut your calorie intake and burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight! To work specifically on the fat that is stored in your belly, you can add some extra abdominal exercises to your regular workout routine.
There are no magical belly fat diets that will whisk away the fat cells stored in your belly. To truly lose your stomach fat you need to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly!

Belly Fat Diet Secrets Revealed
By S A Clark
Is losing belly fat a major goal of yours? Have you tried every belly fat diet out there only to see little or no results? The truth is that belly fat is a very stubborn fat to get rid of. It requires a whole lot of work to reduce and most of us give up far before we see any results.
I personally used to be 70 lbs overweight. Like most men my age, the vast majority of it was around my mid-section. Every year I made a resolution to lose my stomach fat. And every year around April or May I would give up and put it off for next year.
It wasn't until recently I realized that I didn't fail my diet, it was my diet that failed me. I came to the realization that most diets are way too rigid and strict for anyone to stick too for long. Therefore most of us give up and we get caught in the vicious cycle of buying the next big thing that is supposed to grant us whole body well being. With that being said, I want to give you my 5 basic rules for banishing belly fat forever.
Eat Good Carbohydrates - Belly Fat Diet Rule #1
Carbs are essential to any diet, but there are good carbs and bad ones too. Refined flours and the foods that they produce, such as white bread, pasta and donuts should be avoided. They only cause bloating, bad digestion, and lead to accumulation of fat. "Good carbs" are fruits and vegetables and should be consumed instead.
Another thing to consider is slow release carbs like oats, brown rice and sweet potato. It is important to know that the body cannot burn too much sugar at once. Any excess sugar that is not burned off heads straight for the stomach.
No More Late Night Snacks - Belly Fat Diet Rule #2
The problem with the late night snack is that there is no activity afterwards. For the most part, people go right to bed after the late night snack. This causes a high spike in sugar levels and little or no energy is used up after that. This excess sugar will just turn to belly fat, and the first place it goes to is the stomach.
Decrease Alcohol Consumption - Belly Fat Diet Rule #3
Most people know that alcohol can lead to weight gain. Many people do not know the degree of impact that alcohol has on weight loss. We all have seen someone who has that so called "Beer Belly" right? This is the effect of excess alcohol consumption. Alcohol contains very little calories yet these calories are useless. Therefor the body stores these calories as belly fat.
Alcohol contains 7 calories for every gram. Although this is small in comparison to most foods, it is important to remember that alcohol comes in the form of a liquid. Therefor we can consume more in one setting. Since these calories have no nutritional value, they are going to be stored as fat and head straight to the stomach. Any attempts you made throughout the day to lose body fat will just be replaced with this.
Exercise for Weight Loss - Belly Fat Diet Rule#4
This is one of the most common rules for any diet. Yet, it is one of the most difficult ones to implement. Let's face it, most of us that are overweight suffer from lethargy. The chances of us getting up off the couch and busting out that 2 hour Cardio workout is slim to none. And for the most part it is not necessary to do such a work out. Start out with simple things like a brisk walk or bike ride. 15 to 20 minutes a day is all it takes.

This is the big one. Most diets fail because they don't implement this one basic rule. I mentioned earlier that most diets are way too strict. This is the one thing that will help you lose belly fat the quickest. If you don't like the foods that you are eating then most likely you will give up. Periodically throughout your diet treat yourself with foods you like to eat. This in turn will make your diet less mundane and allow you to see results.
It sounds too good to be true right? Eat the foods you like and still lose weight. The truth is it really is that simple! Yet, without the right plan these steps are useless. Therefor if you are on a belly fat diet that is not working for you I suggest you check out the free five day video course that I created on how to "Burn Your Belly Fat".
